About the job
We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer (Java+Selenium WebDriver) to work on a large Fintech project.
You will be joining a team dedicated to the development of a digital banking platform for retail banking.
About you
- You will develop and execute automated test scenarios with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges, increase test coverage and shorten the software development cycle through automation;
- Maintain and extend our existing automation infrastructure;
- Review test reports, investigate failures, open bugs and track their lifecycle;
- Working in an Agile environment and collaborating with internal teams (Product, Dev, QA);
- Maintain a high level of quality in a complex and constantly evolving workspace.
Skills required
- 4+ or more years of experience as a Automation QA Engineer;
- Proven experience in software testing – both manual and automated - a must;
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in writing test scripts with Java, Selenium WebDriver;
- Knowledge of OOP principles;
- Experience in testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG;
- Experience in Maven;
- Understanding of SDLC process;
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Excellent spoken and written English;
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, or comparable.
- Experience in source control systems like Git;
- Experience with mobile testing is an advantage;
